Wisconsin Veterinary Neurology and Surgical Center uses a 1.5 tesla (T) high field MRI just like is used on people. We utilize a 3rd generation MRI made by Hallmarq Advanced Veterinary Imaging, which is manufactured specifically for small animal patients and uses zero helium. Which helps keep the cost down for our patients, helps the environment by not using a non-renewable material, and offers greater flexibility when it comes to portability. We are thrilled to be able to offer this service to our patients and help us improve our treatment plans.
